Festival Vendors

One of NC State’s largest events, Packapalooza is an opportunity to showcase your organization, department, college, or business to thousands of NC State students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members. Exhibiting at Packapalooza is fun and easy. Our goal is to have interactive activities, so be creative!

 Who can exhibit and related fees

  • NC State student organizations, departments, units and colleges – No Charge
  • Non profit organizations/businesses – $80
  • For profit organizations/businesses – $130
  • Hillsborough Street Merchants – No Charge
  • Food Trucks/Vendors – $350

Vendor Booths – the following will be provided

  • 10’x10’ booth space
  • One exhibit table
  • Two folding chairs

Additional Options

  • We are able to provide a 10×10 tent and additional tables on a first come first serve basis. There is a fee for this service regardless of the entity (including campus affiliates and Hillsborough Street merchants). For a reserved tent the cost is $75 (first come first served availability). We cannot guarantee availability of tents and contract with a local vendor to provide them.
  • IF you decide to use your own tent, it cannot exceed the size of your vendor space. ALL tents must be able to be secured to the ground and will be inspected by the City of Raleigh Fire Marshall’s office prior to the start of the event. We reserve the right to ask that a tent be removed from the event.
  • NO tent requests will be accepted after August 1st.
  • An additional table beyond the one provided with your booth space will cost $10.
  • Electricity – there is limited availability for electricity. When you fill out your form, there are a number of questions regarding your needs. If you think you need electricity, please indicate such in the “special needs” section of the online form. Be specific and we will do the best we can. There are no guarantees regarding access to electricity.

Important Information (NC State Affiliated, Non-Profit, For Profit, and Hillsborough Street Merchants)

  • If there is a fee related to your submission an invoice will be generated.  The only forms of payment will be credit card (Visa, Mastercard, and American Express), a check or money order made payable to NC State University.
  • For NC State affiliated groups you will have the option of an Inter-departmental Transfer (IDT).  We will explain payment procedures when the invoice is sent out. This will come as a separate email.Given the high demand to participate in this event, we reserve the right to assign vendors based on space availability.
  • All fees paid are non refundable once you are a confirmed vendor.
  • Last day to rent a tent as a part of the registration process will be on Monday August 1, 2016.
  • Online registration submission closes on Monday August 8, 2016 at 11:59pm. After the deadline we cannot guarantee space availability.
  • We will contact each confirmed organization with their specific assignments no later than Saturday August 13, 2016. If you have not received this email by Monday August 15th, please contact us at packapalooza@ncsu.edu.
  • Payment of all applicable fees is due by 5pm on Monday August 15, 2016.

Important Information (Food Trucks and Food Vendors)

  • If there is a fee related to your submission an invoice will be generated.  The only forms of payment will be credit card (Visa, Mastercard, and American Express), a check or money order made payable to NC State University.
  • All fees paid are non refundable once you are a confirmed vendor.
  • Online registration submission closes on Monday July 25, 2016 at 11:59pm.
  • We will contact each confirmed organization with their specific assignments no later than Saturday August 13, 2016. We reserve the right to place vendors according to event needs and logistics.
  • Payment of all applicable fees is due by 5pm on Friday July 29, 2016.
  • Last day to rent a tent as a part of the registration process will be on Monday August 1, 2016.
  • The registration fee does NOT cover the cost of processing with Wake County Environmental Services. For those food vendors that need to be inspected, there will be an additional $75 fee.
