Vendor Fees

 

Base Registration: $0 • Additional fees apply for extra rentals, such as tables and tents.

Registration

  • Non-Food Vendors
    • Registration is now closed for all vendors.
    • All payments are due Monday, August 20 by 5 p.m. EDT.
  • Food Vendors and Food Trucks
    • Registration is now closed for all food vendors and food trucks.
    • All payments are due by Friday, August 3 at 5 p.m. EDT.

Tents, Tables, and Other Extras

  • Additional Space
    • Rental Price: Double Registration Fee
    • Availability: First-come, first-serve
    • Last Request Date: Friday, August 3 by 5 p.m.
    • Note: Additional space is not guaranteed for all vendors. The Packapalooza will contact vendors who request space if accommodations cannot be made.
  • Tents
    • Rental Price: $90 per tent
    • Availability: First-come, first-serve
    • Last Request Date: Tuesday, July 24 by 5 p.m.
    • Note: All tents, rented or self-provided, will be inspected by the City of Raleigh Fire Marshal.
  • Additional Tables (Registration Fee Includes One Table)
    • Rental Price: $10 per extra table
    • Availability: First-come, first-serve while available
    • Last Request Date: Tuesday, July 24 by 5 p.m.
  • Electricity Access
    • Rental Price: $0
    • Availability: Very limited; first-come, first-serve while available
    • Last Request Date: Friday, August 3 by 5 p.m. or until all access has been reserved
    • Note: All vendors must request electricity via their registration form. Please inform the planning team in the “Special Needs” section of your response.

Vendor Requirements and Expectations

  • Fee Payment
    • All vendors will be emailed with an invoice if fees apply to their application. All invoices include payment instructions via credit card, check, or money order made payable to NC State University. No cash is accepted for Packapalooza fees.
    • Payment Due Date: Monday, August 20 at 5 p.m, Food Vendors by Friday, August 3 at 5 p.m.
    • All paid fees are non-refundable. There are no exceptions.
    • Inter-departmental Transfers (IDT) are available for NC State affiliated vendors. Please see your registration invoice for more instructions.
  • Event Day Set Up
    • Vendors must arrive at Packapalooza by 12:30 p.m. on August 25, 2018. No vehicles will be permitted on the street after 12:30 p.m.
    • All vendors must be set up for Packapalooza by 1:30 p.m. Event start time is 2:00 p.m.
    • All vendors should remain at Packapalooza until at least 7 p.m. Departing the event prior to 7 p.m. may result in improper vendor attendance recorded.
  • Vendor Space Assignment
    • Vendors will be assigned to their specific space no later than Monday, August 20. Please do not inquire about your space before this date.
  • Packapalooza Maps and Directions
    • Vendors are advised to download the Packapalooza App. The app will contain the most up-to-date information regarding the event, including maps and more.
    • Maps and directions for entering, setting up, and parking at Packapalooza will be published by Monday, August 20.
  • Tent and Table Placement
    • All tents and tables must stay within vendors’ dedicated spaces.
    • Hillsborough Street merchants must not allow their event-day set up to impede on the sidewalk in front of their establishments.
  • NC State Trademark Use
    • All use, sale, or promotion of items related to or including NC State trademarks, names, logos, mascots, or other related graphics must be in compliance with NC State trademark policy. See more on trademark policy here.
    • Staff members from NC State University will be monitoring trademark compliance at Packapalooza.

Food Vendors and Food Trucks (Closed)

    • Payment Due Date: Friday, August 3, 2018 by 5 p.m.
  • Temporary Food Establishment Permit (TFP)
    • Registration does not cover the $75 fee for processing by the Wake County Environmental Services.
